Strikeforce StLouis Poster Heavy Artillary May 15

After 2-to-1 underdog Mauricio “Shogun” Rua upset Lyoto Machida at UFC 113 this past weekend, gamblers have been itching for a sneak peak at the early betting lines for “Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery.” Thankfully, 5thRound.com is always here to feed your addiction.

The Showtime broadcast will be jumping off this Saturday inside the Scottrade Center in St Louis, Missouri. The card features the heavyweight title bout between champ Alistair Overeem and Brett Rogers.

Overeem holds an impressive 32-11 MMA record, however this will mark his first Strikeforce appearance since whooping Paul Buentello to capture the open heavyweight title back in November 2007.

He’s since fought outside of the promotion on seven separate occasions.

Rogers stakes claim to a 10-1 professional record and has finished in all of his wins. Unfortunately, Rogers attempted the highly ineffective face-to-fist defense against Fedor Emelianenko in his last bout and wound up paying dearly for it.

Here are the early betting lines for this weekend’s Showtime broadcast:

Alistair Overeem -300
Brett Rogers +200

Andrei Arlovski -190
Antonio Silva +145

Ronaldo Souza -600
Joey Villasenor +350

Roger Gracie -500
Kevin Randleman +300

Rafael Cavalcante -200
Antwain Britt +150
