Bellator Fighting Championships 18 took place last night as Jay Silva stepped in on short notice to face Hector Lombard after former WEC middleweight champ Paulo Filho was forced to pull out due to issues with his visa.

Last night at a packed house in Monroe, LA, World Champion wrestler Joe Warren and undefeated jiu-jitsu black belt Patricio Pitbull punched their tickets to the Bellator Featherweight Tournament Finals on Thursday.

Bellator Middleweight Champion Hector Lombard made yet another statement that he is one of the world’s top 185-pounders after needing only six seconds (see video below) to finish Silva.
