Faber and Six Other WEC 41 Fighters Suspended

The California State Athletic Commission has suspended a total of seven WEC 41 fighters for various injuries sustained during their respective fights this past Sunday inside the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California. Urijah Faber will be out until at least the end of the year after suffering a broken right hand in his title scrap with featherweight champ Mike Brown.

Here is the list of fighters who will be riding the pine:

Seth Dikun: No contact until December 4th with a possible broken fight foot. He could return faster if cleared by a doctor.

Noah Thomas: No contact until December 4th with a nasal fracture. He could return faster if cleared by a doctor, however Thomas suffered facial lacerations, which will keep him out until August 6th.

Antonio Banuelos: No contact until December 4th with a lack of corneal reflex in his right eye. He could return faster if cleared by an ophthalmological physician.

John Franchi: No contact until August 6th with a left cheek laceration.

Manny Gamburyan: No contact until December 4th with a broken right hand. He could return faster if cleared by a doctor.

Cub Swanson: No contact until December 4th with head injuries and facial lacerations. He will also require a CAT scan.

Urijah Faber: No contact until December 4th with a broken right hand (X-Ray picture above). He could return faster if cleared by a doctor.
