Strikeforce StLouis Poster Heavy Artillary May 15

“Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery” is jumping off inside the Scottrade Center in St Louis, Missouri. Tonight’s Showtime broadcast airs at 10PM ET/PT.

SPOILER ALERT: The event will only air live for fans with access to an east coast feed. If you do NOT want to know the results ahead of time, please don’t continue reading. You have been warned!

The card features the heavyweight title bout between champ Alistair Overeem and Brett Rogers. Overeem holds an impressive 32-11 MMA record, however this will mark his first Strikeforce appearance since steamrolling Paul Buentello to capture the belt back in November 2007.

He’s since fought outside of the promotion on seven separate occasions.

Rogers stakes claim to a 10-1 professional record and has finished in all of his wins. Unfortunately, Rogers attempted the highly ineffective face-to-fist defense against Fedor Emelianenko in his last bout and wound up paying dearly for it.

We will be Tweeting the play-by-play action for all of the main bouts in the blue Twitter Box below.
