UFC Undisputed 2010

The Official Playstation Magazine has just released their first review of “UFC Undisputed 2010.” If the critique is a sign of things to come, then THQ has hit another one out of the park.

Last year’s edition – “UFC Undisputed 2009” – was the first official UFC game released in years and proved to be one of THQ’s biggest money makers ever. According to OPM’s review, this year’s edition shows marked improvement from its predecessor.

OPM scored “UFC Undisputed 2010” an astonishing 9 out of 10, citing the reworked ground game, improved clinching and the new sway system as the biggest additions to the gameplay.

The Career Mode feature was also given some much needed love, as players are able to determine how their respective fighters will react during post-fight interviews, which will then factor into the kind of fighter they will become.

If you’re still on the fence about buying the latest edition on May 25th, all you need to do is take a look at this excerpt from OPM:

“This is as close as you’ll get to the UFC without sharing Shane Carwin’s post-fight ice bath.”
