UFC light heavyweight Quinton "Rampage" Jackson

Nine days after learning he could be next in line for another shot at the UFC light heavyweight title, former undisputed champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will be joining the professional wrestling ranks as a co-host on WWE Raw.

It was announced over the weekend that Jackson, along with his fellow ‘A-Team’ counterparts, will serve as special guest hosts on the June 7th edition of Raw.

Jackson controversially undertook the role of B.A. Baracus in the “A-Team’ move, which drew the ire of UFC president Dana White and prompted Rampage’s abrupt exit from MMA.

Months later, Jackson decided to return to the UFC and was immediately booked for the light heavyweight clash he opted to forego at UFC 107  against Rashad Evans.

The stage is finally set for the coaches from last season’s heavyweight edition of “The Ultimate Fighter” to square-off in one of the biggest grudge matches in Octagon history this Saturday at UFC 114.

Jackson and Evans sent shockwaves throughout the MMA community last week when their conference call to promote their upcoming bout took on a life of its own. Both fighters took their respective trash-talking games to a whole new level, thoroughly entertaining the media along the way.
