A previously announced heavyweight scrap between Bobby Lashley and Ron Sparks will not be going down inside the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. Although Lashley was anxious to face the stiffest test of his career, a knee injury has forced him off the June 16th event.

The 33-year-old Lashley owns a perfect 5-0 record and was last seen stopping Wes Sims with an onslaught of punches in the 1stRound of their January tango.

Sparks has been calling for a big name to test his skills against for quite some time, and for the most part – Lashley fit the bill. At the very least, it was a step up in competition.

The San Jose, California based organization did not mention whether Sparks would remain on the card, however did announce the middleweight bout between Tim Kennedy and Trevor Prangley.

Here are the fighters slated/rumored for the Downtown LA event:

Tim Kennedy vs, Trevor Prangley
Shane Del Rosario vs. Lolohea Mahe
Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos vs. Marius Zaromskis
Robbie Lawler vs. Renato “Babalu” Sobral (195-Pound Catchweight Bout)
