The world’s largest MMA promotion has signed a deal with Inner Mongolia Television in China that will allow the UFC to air 1-4 hours of UFC programming a week.
“Obviously China is a huge market and the Chinese understand the martial arts probably better than anyone else in the world. It’s a no brainer that UFC programming will be appreciated in China, and will become a big hit for the NMTV network,” UFC president Dana White said.
According to the official press release, NMTV (Inner Mongolia Television) is a network broadcasting station that hits over 80 million homes in China.
UFC programming will reportedly air on Saturdays and Sundays anywhere from 1:30PM-5:30PM.
The deal allows for the UFC to continue their global expansion as now 100 countries are airing UFC programming in a total of 17 different languages.
