Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans received an inordinate amount of hype leading into Saturday night’s matchup. Unfortunately for fans and UFC president Dana White, Evans’ unanimous decision victory left a lot to be desired.

Although White claimed he didn’t know what would go down inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena, he did state that if Evans won, it would be in the exact manner he dominated Jackson last night.

Despite his superior speed and quickness, Evans opted to clinch and wrestle his bitter rival for much of their 3Round affair – drawing the ire of the capacity crowd. While both promised to unleash a massive beating, the light heavyweight top contender bout was far more bore than brawl.
