It is being reported that a featherweight bout between MMA veteran Mark Hominick and former IFL employee Deividas Taurosevicius will be taking place inside the ring at “Affliction: Trilogy” on August 1st.
This scrap was first reported on ESPN’s “Between Rounds” radio program.
“Trilogy” will mark Hominick’s second go-round with Affliction as he previously defeated Savant Young at the promotion’s debut event, “Banned,” last July.
Although this will be Taurosevicius’ Affliction debut, he has also been on sabbatical for the past year. He was last seen losing to Ryan Schultz in an IFL contest which snapped his six-fight winning streak.
“Affliction: Trilogy” will be popping off inside the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, with this 145-pound tussle to be broadcast on the HDNet portion of the event.
