“Strikeforce: Los Angeles” is officially in the books as tonight’s fighters put on a show at the NOKIA Theater in Downtown, Los Angeles right across the street from where Game 7 of the NBA Finals will take place tomorrow night.

A 195-pound catchweight scrap between former UFC veterans Robbie Lawler and Renato “Babalu” Sobral will headline tomorrow’s six-bout fight card. Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker previously announced the winner would likely move on to face their respective division’s champion.

However, that won’t come without controversy. Srikeforce 185-pound champ Jake Shields is the hottest free agent on the market and is likely to bolt for the Octagon and Babalu has stated he would prefer not to challenge his buddy King Mo Lawal for his crown.
