Former welterweight top contender Dan Hardy has been penciled in for UFC 120 in London, England, but the UFC hasn’t decided who he’ll be standing in the Octagon with.

ESPN UK has confirmed that the promotion’s short list for Hardy is now down to two fighter that both won at UFC 115.

Fresh off of what was easily the biggest win of his career against Paulo Thiago, Danish fighter Martin Kampmann made it clear that he wanted to face Hardy next.

“The Hitman” dominated Thiago by completely nullifying the Brazilian’s striking and ground game to a unanimous decision win. Thiago would’ve likely earned a title shot had he won.

New Mexico native Carlos Condit needed a comeback to pull off his win against Rory MacDonald, as he pounded out the Canadian with only seven seconds left on the clock.

The winner of a Kampmann/Condit vs. Hardy bout will clearly be right in the thick of the UFC’s 170-pound title picture.
