It was announced during “The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale” post-fight press conference that there were 1,708 people in attendance to see Court McGee become the next “Ultimate Fighter.”

Although the “official” numbers will be released by the Nevada State Athletic Commission sometime this week, the preliminary results say that the event generated $430,000 at the gate.

This season’s finale took place at The Pearl at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

On top of the middleweight finale between McGee and Kris McCray, the card also featured a co-main event between light heavyweights Matt Hamill and Keith Jardine.

It was believed throughout the event’s promotions that the Hamill/Jardine bout would headline the card but the UFC clarified days before the event that the show’s finale would be the main event.
