Don’t forget “Countdown to UFC 116” debuts tonight at 7PM ET/PT on Spike TV. The hour-long documentary will promote Saturday’s pay-per-view extravaganza inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Watch heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and interim champ Shane Carwin push their bodies to the absolute limits as they prepare for this weekend’s blockbuster showdown.

Oddly, DirecTV’s misguided description of the show implies that Lesnar is the challenger and doesn’t own hardware of his own: “Heavyweight Brock Lesnar trains to reclaim the belt from Shane Carwin.”

Lesnar hasn’t been seen inside an Octagon since dominating Frank Mir at UFC 100 in July 2009. Carwin proceeded by steamrolling Mir at UFC 111 to capture the interim moniker this past March.

The replay schedule for “Countdown to UFC 116” is listed below:

Wednesday, June 30 at 7PM ET/PT (Spike TV)
Thursday, July 1 at Midnight ET (Versus)
Friday, July 2 at 1AM ET/PT (Spike TV)
