After completing a shocking knockout win over highly touted Rosi Sexton at Bellator 23, former Strikeforce women’s fighter Zoila Frausto has now found herself in Bellator’s Women’s Tournament scheduled for next season.
Ironically, Frausto will be replacing the medically suspended Sexton, who must sit out 60-days after the Kentucky Boxing and Wrestling Authority put her on the shelf.
Frausto, who has also competed in Strikeforce against Miesha Tate, will join seven other women in next season’s highly anticipated tourney.
“With a highlight knockout that’s already generated over 70,000 YouTube views, Zoila stamped her ticket to our women’s Tournament,” Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney stated.
