As expected, Josh Koshcheck will be entering his impending showdown with welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre as a significant underdog.
The challenger shouldn’t feel too badly because GSP was an 8-to-1 favorite in his last outing against Dan Hardy, so at -450 it appears the powers that be believe Koscheck will be able to present greater resistance than the Brit.
The welterweights are currently serving as opposing coaches on “The Ultimate Fighter 12.” Once the lightweight tournament concludes, Koscheck will be granted a shot to redeem his unanimous decision loss to St-Pierre at UFC 74.
Nothing has been confirmed by the world’s biggest MMA promotion, but it’s rumored the pair will meet on a yet-to-be announced December 11th show.
