It is being reported that Ronnys Torres has suffered an injury during a recent training session that will force him out of his scrap against Jeremy Stephens at “UFC Fight Night 19.” The UFC wasted no time in finding his replacement as Justin Buchholz has agreed to face Stephens on September 16th.

MMAjunkie.com was told of the change late Wednesday evening, and sources close to the situation have since confirmed the swap.

Buchholz lost his last fight to Terry Etim at UFC 99 last month. The youngster entered the UFC with a 7-1 record against the who’s who-is-this of MMA, however since joining the planet’s biggest MMA promotion, he has posted a disappointing 1-2 mark.

Speaking of unemployment, although Stephens is one of the division’s fiercest competitors, he has dropped his last two bouts and a third straight strike could very well have him out of the UFC.

The specifics behind Torres’ injury are not known, however being hit with the injury bug is nothing new to the Brazilian. He was also forced out of this “UFC Fight Night 18” contest with a knee injury, meaning come this September, it will have been a year since he’s seen the inside of a cage.

Here is the list of fighters rumored to be competing inside the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma:

Aaron Simpson vs. Ed Herman
Kyle Bradley vs. Sam Stout
Jeremy Stephens vs. Justin Buchholz
Mike Pyle vs. Chris Wilson
Tim Credeur vs. Nate Quarry
Kurt Pellegrino vs. Josh Neer
Chris Lylte vs. Carlos Condit
Gray Maynard vs. Roger Huerta
Nate Diaz vs. Melvin Guillard
