Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Rafael Feijao Cavalcante

The official “Strikeforce: Houston” weigh-ins took place earlier today at the Toyota Center in Texas. If for some reason you don’t wanna believe us, we have the video footage to prove it.

Saturday’s event will feature a pair of spectacular championship scraps. Courtesy of Jake Shields’ anticipated exit, Tim Kennedy and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza will vie for the vacant middleweight crown in the night’s co-main event.

The 185-pound studs will be opening for a light heavyweight bout between champ Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal and the talented Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante. King Mo dominated Gegard Mousasi with his superior wrestling in his last outing to capture the belt.

Tomorrow night’s Showtime broadcast airs at 10PM ET/PT. Unfortunately, only those with access to an east coast feed will be able to watch the fights in real time.
