UFC Fight Night 22” isn’t the most anticipated fight card the Octagon has ever hosted, but at least it’s free. If the fact you won’t have to pay to watch Wednesday’s scraps doesn’t get your blood pumping, the Gambling Gods know what will.

The card will feature a pivotal middleweight battle between Rousimar Palhares and Nathan Marquardt.

Marquardt looks to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to Chael Sonnen, who earned a shot at Anderson Silva’s title with his performance at UFC 109 in February. Despite the minor setback, Marquardt still owns an impressive 29-9-2 resume and remains one of the planet’s best 185-pounders.

The powers that be have pegged “Nate the Great” as nearly a 2.5-to-1 favorite to get back on the winning track.

Palhares holds a respectable 11-2 record and has rattled off three straight wins. The Brazilian jiu jitsu stud has finished eight of his wins via submission, so you know he’ll be seeking to drag the former top contender to the canvas ASAP.
