Now that “UFC Fight Night 22” is officially in the books, the Gambling Gods would like to send out a friendly reminder that “UFC 119: Mir vs.Cro Cop” is just around the betting corner.
A heavyweight rematch between former champions Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira was slated to headline the pay-per-view broadcast, however Big Nog suffered multiple injuries and was forced to withdraw.
No worries, because former Pride superstar Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic agreed to make the September 25th date.
The event will be jumping off inside Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will face Ryan Bader in a pivotal light heavyweight affair in the night’s co-main event. It’s believed the winner will be fed to skyrocketing stud Jon Jones in their next outing.
