A heavyweight rematch between former champions Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira was slated to headline the pay-per-view broadcast, however Big Nog suffered multiple injuries and was forced to pull out.

No worries, because former Pride superstar Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic agreed to fight for the second time in three months.

Little bro Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will face Ryan Bader in a pivotal light heavyweight affair in the night’s co-main event. It’s believed the winner will be fed to skyrocketing stud Jon Jones in their next outing.
