All the athletes participating in tomorrow’s Dream.16 event tipped the scales today inside the Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan. Each contestant hit their required marks, including main event fighters Tatsuya Mizuno and Gegard Mousasi who will vie for the vacant light heavyweight crown.

James Thompson was initially set to face Ikuhisa Minowa, but then found himself without an opponent when 2008 Beijing Gold Medalist Satoshi Ishii stepped in and stole his spot. His long flight to the Orient wasn’t a total wash, as he was rewarded with a last-minute scrap against DEEP Megaton champion Yusuke Kawaguchi.

Dream lightweight title holder Shinya Aoki will also be featured in the event. The controversial grappler faces Marcus Aurelio in a non-title affair.

Dream.16 airs live on HDNet in North America early Saturday morning (2AM ET/11PM PT).
