While “UFC 121: Lesnar vs. Velasquez” is clearly the deepest fight card of 2010, UFC 124 appears to be following closely behind. The Octagon’s final show of the year has reportedly added a spectacular lightweight scrap between Jim Miller and Brazilian phenom Charles Oliveira to its roster.
The contest was first reported by MMADiehards.com on Wednesday afternoon, however has since been confirmed by multiple outlets.
Miller holds an impressive 18-2 mark and is 7-1 for the world’s premier mixed martial arts show. His sole blemish in the UFC came in a lopsided unanimous decision loss to current top contender Gray Maynard at UFC 96 back in March 2009. He was seen last month handing Gleison Tibau a decision loss at “UFC fight Night 22.”
Oliveira stakes claim to a perfect 14-0 record, however Miller signifies his toughest test to date. On the flipside, enthusiasts said the exact same thing before he submitted former “The Ultimate Fighter” winner Efrain Escudero on the same UFC FN 22 card.
UFC 124 takes place inside the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on December 11th. A welterweight title fight between king Georges St-Pierre and Josh Koscheck will headline the star-studded extravaganza.
Here are the athletes rumored/expected to participate in the pay-per-view broadcast:

Dustin Hazelett vs. Mark Bocek
Jim Miller vs. Charles Oliveira
Ricardo Almeida vs. TJ Grant
Thiago Alves vs. John Howard
