UFC Heavyweight Stephan Struve

As expected, a thrilling heavyweight scrap between Stefan Struve and Sean McCorkle has been officially added to “UFC 124: St-Pierre vs. Koscheck 2″ on December 11th. A welterweight battle between Matt Riddle and Anthony Waldburger will also go down inside the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Speaking of 170-pounders, Josh Koscheck challenges Georges St-Pierre for his title in the card’s featured attraction. GSP took a unanimous decision victory over Kos three years ago and has since stung together six consecutive lopsided wins.

Struve owns an impressive 20-4 record and is fresh off a lights out victory over Christian Morecraft at UFC 117. “Skyscraper” has rattled off wins in nine of his last 11 outings. His two losses during that stretch came at the hands of the studly Junior dos Santos and former IFL champ Roy Nelson.

McCorkle, AKA “Big Sexy,” has created quite the following on the MMA UG Forums. He exploded onto the Octagon scene by submitting veteran Mark Hunt with a crafty kimura in the 1stRound of their UFC 119 matchup. He’s prefect through his first 10 professional fights and has posted devastating finishes in all but one.

In total, four bouts have been confirmed for the blockbuster extravaganza. Here is what the rumor mill has the fight card looking like thus far:

Preliminary Bouts:

Dan Miller vs. Joe Doerksen
Matt Riddle vs. Anthony Waldburger*
Jason MacDonald vs. Rafael Natal
Ricardo Almeida vs. TJ Grant

Main Bouts:

Dustin Hazelett vs. Mark Bocek*
Stefan Struve vs. Sean McCorkle*
Jim Miller vs. Charles Oliveira
Thiago Alves vs. John Howard
Josh Koscheck vs. Georges St-Pierre (UFC Welterweight Champion)*
