UFC Heavyweight Cain Velasquez

While Cain Velasquez’s fanboys have had their DVRs working overtime after his shellacking of Brock Lesnar at UFC 121, the freshly minted heavyweight king claims he has yet to watch his greatest professional accomplishment.

With a life-altering, multi-million dollar opportunity staring him dead in his brown Mexican-American eyes, Velasquez unleashed the performance and mauling of a lifetime. Unfortunately, pay-per-view purchasers were forced to settle for only four minutes and 12 seconds of perfection.

“I haven’t seen it. I haven’t had the time. I’ve seen pictures,” Velasquez told TMZ.com nearly 48 hours after his upset victory. “I remember moments, but I don’t remember what happened after what.”

In the ‘Look at Me Now’ sports world we live it, it’s refreshing its latest superstar isn’t interested in getting drunk off his own successes. In fact, the 28-year-old was already brainstorming for his first title defense just minutes after manhandling “The Baddest Man on the Planet.”

“Junior dos Santos is up now, and he’s next in line. So I gotta get ready for him,” a tunnel-visioned Velasquez told MMA Live. “I think he’s definitely the best in the heavyweight division, as far as striking. He has good takedown defense, and if he does get taken, he’s right back up.

“We gotta watch film and see what we gotta do for him.”

Oh sure, NOW you have time to watch television …
