WEC Poster 52 Urijah Faber Mizugaki

It appears the Gambling Gods may have already poured dirt on the WEC’s grave. Although the UFC’s little brother will be hosting their second-to-last show this Thursday, the powers that be have been abnormally slow in releasing the betting lines for WEC 52.

Former featherweight king turned 135-pounder Urijah Faber meets Japanese star Takeya Mizugaki in the card’s featured contest.

Mizugaki holds a respectable 13-4-2 record, however made quite the splash in his WEC debut. His Korean Zombie-like performance in a unanimous decision loss to then champ Miguel Torres won him over many stateside fans.

Faber lost his featherweight title to Mike Brown at WEC 36 and followed it up with a unanimous decision loss in their rematch at WEC 41. After reigning 145-pound king Jose Aldo laid the lumber on his thigh, “The California Kid” opted to test the bantamweight waters.

WEC 52 will be jumping off inside The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

BetUS.com has only released the line for the card’s main event:
