Earlier last week we reported that Ronaldo Jacaré was out in Las Vegas helping Wanderlei Silva with his Jiu-Jitsu in anticipation of his upcoming bout with Keith Jardine at UFC 84. Now it looks like Jacaré is going to be in a fight of his own as many websites are reporting that he’ll be entering the DREAM Middleweight Grand Prix.

The announcement has yet to be made official as the Xtreme Couture blog only says, “look for Jacaré to have a high profile fight announced soon.”

DREAM’s Middleweight Grand Prix is scheduled to begin on April 29th at the Saitama Super Arena, home of many of the former PRIDE events and the list of names that are a part of the event are starting to grow.

Here’s a list of the fighters that’ll be in the tournament (courtesy of MMAWeekly):

– Ronaldo Jacaré

– Yoshihiro Akiyama
– Masakatsu Funaki
– Dong-Sik Yoon
– Taiei Kin

– Shungo Oyama

– Ikuhisa Minowa

It is also be reported that Jacaré is replacing an injuired Kazushi Sakuraba. We’ll have more on DREAM as soon as we get the information.
