Today, Spike TV announced “Countdown to UFC 124” will make its debut on December 6th. This edition of the highly popular series features welterweight king Georges St-Pierre and Josh Koscheck as they prepare for their rematch.

The show premieres at 7PM ET/PT on Spike, with replays available on December 9th at 6PM ET/PT and December 11th at Midnight ET/PT.

St-Pierre took a hard-fought unanimous decision over Koscheck in their meeting at UFC 74. It was his first fight since being humbled by Matt Serra just four months prior.

Koscheck posted a convincing unanimous decision win over Paul Daley at UFC 113 in his last outing. The victory earned the controversial wrestler coaching duties on “The Ultimate Fighter 12″ opposite the planet’s baddest 170-pounder, as well as the next shot at his strap.

The pay-per-view broadcast takes place inside Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Here are the fighters expected to compete in extravaganza:

Preliminary Bouts:

Pat Audinwood vs. John Makdessi
Jesse Bongfeldt vs. Rafael Natal
Ricardo Almeida vs. TJ Grant
Dan Miller vs. Joe Doerksen
Matt Riddle vs. Sean Pierson
Dustin Hazelett vs. Mark Bocek

Main Bouts:

Thiago Alves vs. John Howard
Joe Stevenson vs Mac Danzig
Jim Miller vs. Charles Oliveira
Stefan Struve vs. Sean McCorkle
