Now that “The Ultimate Fighter 12” tournament has officially anointed two lightweight finalists, let’s take a peek at what this Saturday’s “TUF 12 Finale” roster looks like.
Michael Johnson will battle teammate Jonathan Brookins for the highly coveted six-figure UFC contract.
Both up-and-comers will represent Team George St-Pierre in the finals. Johnson and Brookins were respectively the welterweight king’s top two draft picks.
The roster also features the debut of the UFC’s featherweight division, as Leonard Garcia takes on TUF 12 semifinalist Nam Phan in the first televised bout of the evening.
A light heavyweight scrap between TUF 1 finalist Stephan Bonnar and Igor Pokrajac will headline the event.
“The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale” takes place inside The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. Spike TV will broadcast the event beginning at 9PM ET/PT.
Octagon brass are hoping the freebie fight card will help boost sales for the following weekend’s UFC 124 pay-per-view extravaganza. GSP will put his title on the line against rival TUF 12 coach Josh Koscheck in the UFC’s final show of the decade.
