UFC Georges St Pierre Kosh Koscheck 124

“UFC 124: St-Pierre vs. Koscheck 2” takes place Saturday inside the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The first preliminary bout is scheduled to start at approximately 7:20PM ET/4:20PM PT. Make sure to stay with 5thRound.com all night for our live coverage.

UFC.com kicks off the “televised” portion of tonight’s festivities with a live stream of two preliminary bouts at 9PM ET/6PM PT. Fanatics will have to pay for the good stuff after the hour-long freebie when the pay-per-view broadcast begins at 10PM ET/7PM PT.

Welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre will defend his title against Josh Koscheck in the card’s main event.

St-Pierre took a hard fought unanimous decision over Koscheck in their initial meeting at UFC 74 in August 2008. It was his first fight since being humbled by Matt Serra just four months prior, but more importantly, the debut of the new St-Pierre.

GSP 2.0 has executed a much more conservative, dominant, ground attack en route to recapturing the crown.

Koscheck posted a convincing unanimous decision win over Paul Daley at UFC 113 in his last outing. The victory earned the controversial wrestler coaching duties on “The Ultimate Fighter 12″ opposite the planet’s baddest 170-pounder, as well as the next shot at his strap.

Here is the roster for tonight’s extravaganza:

Preliminary Bouts:

Pat Audinwood vs. John Makdessi
Ricardo Almeida vs. TJ Grant
Matt Riddle vs. Sean Pierson
Jesse Bongfeldt vs. Rafael Natal

(UFC.com 9PM ET/6PM PT)
