UFC President Dana White

UFC president Dana White may not be sporting a red Santa suit this Christmas, but that doesn’t mean MMA’s big boss man isn’t in the Holiday spirit.

Yesterday on MixedMartialArts.com, Ben Pittsley, a member of “The Underground” since January of this year, took to his keyboard and directed his fundraising efforts towards White:

“I recently [visited] Tiger Muay Thai and had the experience of a lifetime, But this is not about me, this is about SAVING THE LIFE OF A 4yr OLD GIRL!!!!

I had the pleasure of training with Kru Nai and meeting his family….When I returned home I learned that his daughter needs a LIVER TRANSPLANT or will die….the doctors gave 4 weeks to live…..

Please donate and help save a life

Mr. DANA WHITE,
If you are a true ambassador for the sport…..PAY FOR THIS SURGERY!!!

Please help, no donation to small……..the clock is ticking
http://savetuptim.yolasite.com/ or contact TIGER MUAY THAI for details

STEP UP Mr. WHITE…..please save a life “

Immediately after the bulletin was posted, several Undergrounders dropped their two cents on the subject – both positive and negative – claiming Pittsley shouldn’t have demanded for White to flip the bill just because he has the funds to do so. Although, there were an abundance of supporters that wished Nai’s daughter the very best.

Fast forward several hours and it appears Pittsley’s prayers were answered. Saucylv33, a representative from the UFC who actively participates in the Underground, claimed White will pick up the tab for the life-saving procedure.

“Dana will pay for the remaining funds needed for the surgery,” Saucylv33 posted.

After catching wind of White’s philanthropy, Pittsley immediately praised the promoter for his generosity and explained why he took such an aggressive stance in bringing the story to light.

“I needed to grab the attention of users and hopefully Dana White,” Pittsley wrote. “I honestly didn’t mean to make him feel bad or pressured. I was just trying to spread the word and if the message got to him it was a plus … If I posted something like ‘Save a Life’ this thread would have been lost with the others.

“Kru Nai …. I love you man and will see you and your family soon. MR. DANA WHITE …. I love you too and could do a (expletive) back flip now.”

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
