UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar

My New Year’s resolution will be to stop betting my life savings on MMA fights. Unfortunately, the Gambling Gods aren’t too interested in helping curb my addiction with the release of the complete wagering odds for UFC 125.

Frankie Edgar will be entering his third consecutive title fight when he rematches Gray Maynard Saturday inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The scrap marks Edgar’s second straight as the division’s king.

Despite sweeping former ruler BJ Penn for arguably 50 championship minutes to solidify his spot atop the 155-pound totem pole, the Jersey boy will once again be entering the cage as the underdog.

Maynard is looking for a repeat performance of his lopsided unanimous decision win over Edgar from back in April 2008.
