UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar

“UFC 125: Resolution” took place Saturday night inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The New Year’s Day event featured a lightweight title scrap between champ Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard.

Once again, Edgar was involved in a hotly contested championship affair. Although Maynard was slapping him around in the opening stanza, Edgar survived the onslaught and managed to pull out a Draw to retain his title.

Both 155-pounders were very upset over the verdict at the post-fight presser. Edgar and Maynard each believe they did enough to take home the W.
