Word on the street is that the UFC has just inked British fighter Paul Daley to a four-fight deal, adding even more depth to their already stacked welterweight division. In addition to that, it loads the organization with another U.K. fighter that they can market to their most imposing fan base.
Daley had been slated to fight Jay Hieron at “Affliction: Trilogy” on August 1st, however that event was canceled due to Josh Barnett’s love for steroids.
According to Fighters Only Online, there is no timetable for Daley’s Octagon debut, however there is no reason to believe he won’t get thrown right into the fire.
The six-year veteran has won nine of his past 11 scraps. In his last outing, Daley TKO’d Junior Barata at World Free Fight Challenge in Slovenia this past April.
