“UFC 126: Silva vs. Belfort” Fight Card Nears Completion

As football fans are counting down to the biggest pigskin weekend of the year, fight fanatics are just as excited over Super Bowl Sunday’s opening act. “UFC 126: Silva vs. Belfort” will be jumping off Saturday, February 5th inside the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

A middleweight title bout between challenger Vitor Belfort and Anderson Siva, the man most consider to be the baddest 185-pounder to ever grace the canvas, will headline the star-studded show.

Former light heavyweight champ Forrest Griffin will stand opposite Rich Franklin in he night’s co-main event.

The only bout yet to be announced by the organization is a lightweight scrap between former WEC top contender Donald Cerrone and Paul Kelly. However, Cerrone quickly took to his Twitter earlier this week and re-tweeted multiple fan messages wishing him well against the Brit.

Kelly was scheduled to fight Sam Stout, but the Canadian was forced to pull out with an undisclosed injury.
