“Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Silva” isn’t the most aesthetically appealing event poster in mixed martial arts history, but it gets the job done, nonetheless. We’ll give you one guess as to whose image is plastered across the billboard.
Fresh off inking his ever-elusive contract extension, Fedor Emelianenko will make his stateside return to face Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva in the opening round of Strikeforce’s box office Heavyweight Grand Prix.
Although Alistair Overeem dons the 265-pound crown, the Dutchman only has a little black and white portrait in the upper left-hand corner of the poster. It will be interesting to see if they swap the superstars’ images when its time for ‘Ubereem’ to take the stage for his quarterfinals matchup, most likely in March.
