UFC Welterweight Nate Diaz

According to MMAFighting, a welterweight contest between Nate Diaz and Rory MacDonald has been scheduled for UFC 129 in Toronto, Canada.

Diaz is looking to bounce back from a unanimous decision loss to Dong Hyun Kim at UFC 125. Prior to his New Year’s Day defeat, Diaz was 2-0 since moving to the 170-pound weight class.

MacDonald owns a nearly perfect 10-1 record, but hasn’t been seen since getting put down by Carlos Condit at UFC 115 last June. The Canadian is currently honing his skills at the famed Tristar Gym in Montreal, home of welterweight king Georges St-Pierre.

Speaking of our northern neighbor’s golden boy, GSP puts his crown on the line against Jake Shields in the card’s featured contest.

The April 30th event takes place inside the Rogers Centre. The show marks the Octagon’s debut in Toronto.

Here are the other fighters rumored for the pay-per-view broadcast:

John Makdessi vs. Kyle Watson
Ivan Menjivar vs. Charlie Valencia
Pablo Garza vs. Yves Jabouin
