“UFC 128: Shogun vs. Evans” Fight Card Complete with 12 Bouts

This might be a sign of things to come or it could just be a coincidence, but “UFC 128: Shogun vs. Evans” will also offer 12 fights on its star-studded roster.

The organization typically showcases only 11 bouts in a standard card, but recently announced “UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch” in Australia will feature twelve battles.

UFC 128 takes place March 19th inside the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. A light heavyweight title match between champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Rashad Evans will headline the pay-per-view broadcast.

A welterweight contest between Mike Pyle and Ricardo Almeida, as well as a middleweight tango with Nick Catone and Dan Miller were the last bouts added to the show.

Here is the complete lineup for the Octagon’s return to Frankie Edgar’s hometown:
