Although the hotly rumored UFC 130 scrap between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans is far from a done deal, it hasn’t stopped the Gambling Gods from dropping their two cents on the potential rematch.
Evans posted a lopsided unanimous decision win over his bitter rival at UFC 114 last May. Since the victory, “Sugar” has remained stagnant while waiting for champ Mauricio “Shogun” Rua to heal from his third knee operation.
Unfortunately for Evans, he was stung by the irony and injury bug when he revealed over the weekend a knee injury would force him out of their UFC 128 title fight.
B.A. Baracus, on the other hand, left UFC 123 with a controversial split decision win over Lyoto Machida this past November.
Rampage was an early -145 favorite when their UFC 114 line first opened, but the late money moved behind Evans. They were rated at -115 apiece by the time the curtain was drawn.
Evans is nearly a 2-to-1 favorite for their mulligan, should Part II in fact go down May 28th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
