(UPDATED) Facebook to Stream “UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch” Preliminary Bouts

According to the UFC’s Facebook page, preliminary bouts for this Saturday’s “UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch” event will be made available for stream on the popular social network.

“Some serious battles will be waged this weekend, and you can watch them all live on Saturday night at 10 pm ET/7 pm PT with prelims starting on Facebook at 8/5. Invite your friends over with our exclusive Evite http://bit.ly/gHp65G

Although no official announcement has been made regarding which freebie fights will be offered, it appears the Octagon’s relationship with Facebook is intensifying. This will mark the third time the powerhouses have partnered up.

UFC 127 takes place February 27th inside the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia and features a welterweight top contender bout between BJ Penn and Jon Fitch.

The pay-per-view broadcast will air live in North America this Saturday (February 26th) at 10PM ET/7PM PT.
