UFC 83 Weigh-In Results

The Bell Centre in Montreal was packed full of energetic Canadians as they welcomed the participants of tomorrow night’s fights onto the scales.  This will be the UFC’s first ever event in Canada, and the card is headlined by the most popular Canadian fighter of them all, Georges St-Pierre, as he will be taking on UFC Welterweight champion Matt Serra for the title.

It was rather an uneventful weigh-in, as all fighters made weight. There will be 7 Canadian fighters competing on the card, and it was obvious which fighters the Canadians were standing behind, just as Matt Serra as the boos rained down as soon as he tried to speak.

Jason MacDonald (185)  vs. Joe Doerksen (184.5)

Sam Stout (15.5) vs. Rich Clementi (155)

Kuniyoshi Hironaka (170) vs. Jonathan Goulet (169.5)

Alan Belcher (185) vs. Jason Day (183.5)

Cain Velasquez (235.5) vs. Brad Morris (235.5)
