Newly crowned UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones took his talents to “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on Thursday night. The 23-year-old not only came out with a freshly tailored suit, but he also captivated the audience with his charismatic ways.
Although UFC president Dana White initially claimed Jones was the first Octagon fighter to appear on NBC’s popular late night show, former champions Tito Ortiz and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson have both chopped it up with Leno in the past.
Actress Kirstie Alley was Leno’s top guest on Thursday. She took quite a liking to Jones backstage and their innocent flirtation carried over when Jones hit the stage.
“Bones” steamrolled Mauricio “Shogun” Rua this past Saturday at UFC 128 to capture the 205-pound title.
