In anticipation of Wednesday’s “The Ultimate Fighter 13” premiere on Spike TV, former UFC heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar will take his talents to NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” tonight to help promote the popular reality show.
In a rare in-studio interview, Lesnar is expected to discuss his controversial career in professional wrestling, as well as MMA. Lesnar is also releasing his autobiography “Death Clutch: My Story of Determination, Domination, and Survival” on May 24th.
“Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” airs tonight at 12:35AM ET/PT.
Last Thursday, it was Jon Jones’ turn to appear on the peacock network. Jones made quite the splash on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” just ask Kirstie Alley.
Quick observation that could mean absolutely NOTHING: Out of all the late night shows available, Jones and Lesnar both appeared on NBC programs. CBS films the “Late Show with David Letterman” in New York, Jones’ hometown and just miles from where he became the youngest champion in UFC history. Instead, they fly him across the country to chop it up with Leno in Southern Cali.
Furthermore, UFC president Dana White is seen wearing at least one ‘Saturday Night Live’ T-shirt in the first episode of TUF 13. The sketch comedy show has aired on NBC since 1975. #JustSayin’
