This past Saturday in Lake Forrest, California, UFC middleweight Mark Munoz celebrated the one-year anniversary of his skyrocketing Reign Training Center. It was a family-oriented extravaganza, which fits in perfectly with the culture Munoz has established during his successful 12-month run.
Although the man of the hour was busy entertaining hundreds of guests, Munoz took a few moments with 5thRound to discuss Reign’s recent successes, his impending UFC 131 fight against Demian Maia and a potential showdown with longtime friend and middleweight king Anderson Silva.
Munoz also dropped his two cents on the controversial ‘Teammate vs. Teammate’ subject that has taken over the sport of mixed martial arts. Who better to ask than an elite Octagon fighter/MMA gym owner?
Also on hand at the fiesta were UFC superstars Urijah Faber, Joseph Benavidez and Jake Ellenberger, as well as upset specialist Fabricio Werdum.
