Bellator Lightweight Champ Eddie Alvarez

“Bellator 39: Alvarez vs. Curran” takes place Saturday night inside the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. Lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez will stand opposite Pat Curran in the card’s featured contest.

Unfortunately for Curran, the Gambling Gods don’t believe he stands much of a chance against one of the best 155-pounders not under Zuffa, LLC’s banner.

Although Alvarez owns an impressive 22-2 professional record, with 19 of his wins coming by way of devastating finish, betting on a 5.5-to-1 favorite during March Madness might be too risky of an investment.

MTV2 will air tomorrow’s show at 9PM ET/PT.
