“Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum” takes place June 18th inside the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Tickets for the highly anticipated show go on sale this morning at 10AM CT.
“We are really excited to head to Dallas with two outstanding quarterfinal heavyweight Grand Prix fights,” Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker said. “With Overeem vs. Werdum, Rogers vs. Barnett, as well as the return of Gina Carano, Strikeforce is bringing one of its best cards ever to American Airlines Center.”
While UFC president Dana White claimed the MMA world would run like “Business as usual” after they purchased their stateside rivals, for the first time ever, UFC Fight Club members will have first dibs at seats for a Strikeforce show.
Strikeforce Insiders can purchase seats to the tournament Thursday, April 14th at 10AM CT via Strikeforce.com.
The general public will have access to the remains on Friday, April 15th at 10AM CT via Ticketmaster.com.
Although Strikeforce Insiders received the following billboard Monday confirming Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal’s return against Ovince St. Preux, the company reissued the poster today without the matchup appearing on the poster. Hmm…

Shane Del Rosario vs. Daniel Cormier
Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal vs. Ovince St. Preux
