UFC VP Chuck Liddell

When Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell retired from mixed martial arts to become the UFC’s executive vice president of business development, most fans believed “The Iceman” was simply rewarded with the figurehead role because of his longstanding friendship with UFC president Dana White.

At the time, Octagon brass claimed Liddell’s new position would involve issues such as regulatory affairs and fighter relations. However, it appears Liddell is now stepping on the toes of UFC matchmaker Joe Silva.

In a video spoof entitled, “Mr. Liddell – Executive Iceman,” the former light heavyweight champ is filmed organizing the largest MMA fight card in North American history.

UFC 129: St-Pierre vs. Shields” takes place this Saturday inside Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada.
