Now that featherweight champ Jose Aldo has officially postponed his return to the Octagon, top contender Chad Mendes has been partnered up with submission specialist Rani Yahya at UFC 133.
The company’s long-awaited return to Philadelphia will be headlined by a light heavyweight scrap between former champ Rashad Evans and fast-rising star Phil Davis. A victory would solidify Evans’ spot as the division’s top contender, while a win for Davis would mark his most significant to date.
The Wells Fargo Center in Philly is the front runner to host the show.
