For those who love EliteXC and wanted to see more than the five fights that are on the main card are in luck. It was announced earlier today on ProElite.com that the website will air seven preliminary bouts before the organization makes history by having a live event on network television.

So far the confirmed fighters for the preliminary fights are: Nick Serra, Wilson Reis and Chris Liguori. We’ll know more about their opponents as well as the fighters for the other fights within the coming week or so.

Here’s the excerpt from ProElite.com:

Nick Serra, Wilson Reis, and and Chris Liguori have all been confirmed to be part of the historic EliteXC “Primetime” show on May 31st. The named fighters will all be competing on ProElite.com’s live & free internet stream of “Primetime”‘s preliminary bouts.

As the name indicates, Nick Serra is the brother of Matt Serra and shares head instructor duties at Serra BJJ as a Renzo Gracie Black Belt.

Wilson Reis, originally from Brazil, is also a BJJ black belt and currently holds and undefeated record of 3-0. His last outing saw him victorious on the ShoXC in January.

Chris Liguori is experienced and versatile with a 14-fight resume with includes combat in CFFC, MFC, Euphoria and the UFC.

No opponents have been officially announced for the trio. However, the full seven-bout internet card is expected to be released soon.

The five fights that will air on the CBS broadcast are:

Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson vs. James Thompson
Robbie Lawler (#5 Middleweight in the World)* vs. Scott Smith
Gina Carano vs. Kaitlin Young
Phil Baroni vs. Joey Villasenor
Brett Rogers vs. John Murphy
