UFC President Dana White

Dana White just appeared live on stage at the E3 press conference in Downtown Los Angeles. The UFC president announced during XBox 360’s segment of the convention that fanboys will soon get to experience a new way to witness Octagon action.

“There has never been a better time to be a UFC fan,” White emphatically stated. “As you know, we deliver the best fights in the world and now XBox will revolutionize how fans experience live events on television.

“You’ll get all the best fights and compete with your friends, only on XBox.”

Fans will soon be able to access fighter profiles, training videos, watch live weigh-ins and even order pay-per-view events on the gaming console.

Another interesting feature revealed today was the ability to predict the outcome of UFC fights against your friends and earning ranking points for predicting the correct winner. It’s currently unclear as to what those points may earn you outside of bragging rights, but it definitely makes watching the scraps more of an interactive experience.

Full details regarding “UFC on XBox Live” are scarce, but White said fans should expect to see Octagon content online starting this Holiday season.
